This is a real western ranch in a great western Sierra Mountain setting surrounded by thousands of acres of Sequoia National Forest yet only six miles from the shopping center in Lake Isabella. The ranch flows up from the valley thru meadows, trees and hills to over 4000 foot offering a very stunning, unique and diverse setting. You can follow the Clear Creek Pack Trail from the ranch thru the national forest to 8000 feet and above. The whole area with Lake Isabella, the Kern River and millions of acres of National Forest is a fishing, hunting, hiking, horse-mans paradise. It just does not get any better then this and you can be back in L. A. in two and one half hours.
The ranch is in 4 legal parcels and is now a working cattle ranch with additional contiguous BLM and Forest service land under lease. There is room for an airstrip on the ranch but you have the Kern Valley Airport with-in thirty minutes next to the lake.
This would make one of the best guest or dude ranch operations in the west. There are also three old gold mines on the ranch dug into the mountain, which offer some interesting lure.
